At the Western South Dakota Community Action Agency, we understand the unique challenges faced by the low-income community. Our doors are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, welcoming you with warmth and empathy.

All our programs are crafted to support those with limited incomes, extending eligibility up to 200% of poverty (depending on the program). We embrace a case management approach, not just to address immediate needs but to foster goal setting and propel families forward with care and understanding.
 

In your journey toward a brighter tomorrow, we're here to provide expert knowledge, structured coaching that works for you, and a comforting hand to guide you every step of the way.

If you're in need of help, please follow these steps and one of our hardworking Community Coaches will contact you.

STEP 1:
ready

  • Fill out WSDCA Universal Application

  • Photo IDs for all adult Household Members

  • Birth Certificates or Medicaid Cards for all children under the age of 18

  • Social Security Cards for all Household Members

  • Proof of Income for the previous 30 Days for all working Household Members who are over 18+

  • Proof of Physical Address

  • Authorization to Release Information (may be requested by Coach)

Submit your Application in one of the following ways

  • Call and set up an appointment (605-348-1460) OR

  • Send the appropriate forms and Application via email (Sandy@wsdca.org) OR

  • Fill out the form below with the appropriate documents.
