Weatherization

Our Weatherization Assistance Program is here to support low-income households in the journey towards more energy-efficient homes. After a thorough assessment of your home, a Department of Energy approved computer program is used to determine which measures will be best for your specific situation. These measures can include installing insulation; cleaning, repair or replacing heating systems; repairing or replacing windows and doors; installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors; and educating clients on household hazards and ways to save money on utilities.

Eligibility is determined by household income, with priority given to households with seniors aged 60 or older, those with disabled members, or families with children . We understand the importance of a comfortable home, so renters are welcome with written permission and a contribution from the landlord. Although funds are limited, and a waiting list may apply, our commitment to making your home more energy-efficient remains unwavering.
