Energy Auditor
Western South Dakota Community Action is looking for an experienced construction management professional to join our weatherization team. If you have completed a vocational construction program, or have at least two (2) years of experience in HVAC or general contractor position, please apply! SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Perform diagnostic energy audits of homes in a timely and efficient manner and write up work orders from those diagnostics. - Ensure accuracy and compliance of program files and that they follow program requirements. - Perform inspections and enter data into software - Obtain a working knowledge of the agency’s programs and policies. - Attend trainings on programs and updates. - Educate clients on conservation measures within their homes. - Other duties as assigned REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS - At least 2 years of professional construction experience - BPI Home Performance Auditor Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) - High school diploma or equivalent - Must have insurable and valid drivers license - Pre-employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen. Operations Manager
WSDCA is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team and help coordinate activities and initiatives for our programs. Responsibilities: - Supervision of Warehouse Team and Home Projects team, other personnel as assigned - Manage warehouse tasks and delivery logistics. - Develop Construction industry relationships for staff and contractor projects - Help identify program opportunities for WSDCA and assist with procuring grants as appropriate - Manage the Agency's general operations - Data management for reporting grants program - Task and schedule management on outreach activities, marketing, and program initiatives - Assist in developing and formalizing operating procedures for the agency - Coordinate with other staff and services providers as needed on equipment and facility needs - Review/establish budget reports - Attend meetings and trainings as required - Other duties as needed Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Two years of Project Management experience - Three years Personnel Management/Supervision experience - Two years' experience reviewing/establishing program budgets and reports. - Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook - Project Management Software - Nonprofit experience - Grant writing and reporting - Experience with Rapid City community organizations and partnerships - Experience with construction industry Job Type: Full-time, in-person Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
Facilities coordinator

We provide community services in 15 counties, serving low-income and families, seniors, and children. Duties: 1. Manage inventory and provide regular reports 2. Vehicle maintenance schedule 3. Facility maintenance schedule - Pick up building supply orders and others as needed using box vans and trailers - Set up materials for weatherization jobs per work orders - Receive delivered shipments using forklift and pallet jacks - Receive donations and coordinate sorting and distribution - Occasionally pick up/coordinate donations - Manage site volunteers per task guidelines - Maintain building and grounds - Manage warehouse assistants, cleaning, and grounds contractors Required Qualifications: · Inventory Management (computerized) (1 year) · Retail/Nonprofit experience with orders/receipt/delivery (3 years) · Facilities or Operations maintenance or coordination experience (2 years) · Scheduling experience · D/L, clean driving record · Warehouse Experience Desired qualifications: · Construction knowledge · Supervision including volunteers · Project management · Forklift - Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel, email, etc) Current driver's license and verified safe driving record required.
