Housing & Urban Development (HUD)'s Older Adults Home Modification Program (OAHMP)
The OAHMP helps low-income seniors (62+) age in place by funding low-cost, high-impact home modifications that reduce fall risks, improve safety, and increase accessibility.
Typical Modifications:

grab bars, handrails, lever-handle faucets, handheld shower heads

raised toilet seats, non-slip flooring, improved lighting

temporary ramps, tub/shower transfer benches

Housing & Urban Development (HUD)'s Healthy Homes Production Grant (HHPG)
The HHPG addresses housing-related health and safety hazards in low-income homes, especially where children, older adults, or persons with disabilities live.
Hazards Addressed:

unsafe electrical systems
Outcomes:
